Last OVR train to go to Sun-Rype. This was the main track to the Kelowna yard. Corn syrup car on end of train Section of track removed. Sun-Rype track still in place waiting for car to arrive. Track to yard removed while new sewer pipe installed on Sunday Sept. 11 05. Later Sunday, track reinstalled for trains Monday morning. New cement road way sections Looking north to Mile 118. Ties for new #10 switch layed out. New 115Lb. track section being prepared. Switch kit in a box #10 switch being assembled. Gordon Drive track removed. Plate on each section of new rail. PNR foreman looks on. Left # 10 switch worth Aprox. $60,000 each. Insulated rail joiners 2nd #10 switch west of Gordon dr. Writing on new frog. Looking east from old mainline.
